Blues stars Alex Iwobi and Moise Kean have learned about the incredible impact of the Fans Supporting Foodbanks initiative - and the generosity of Evertonians - by helping out at a Liverpool centre that supports more than 250 people with emergency food parcels each week.
“It saddens my heart that a lot of people, especially kids, are struggling for food," Iwobi told evertontv. "People are working hard but they don’t make enough to take care of their own families.

Alex is well known for his love for Beans and Egg. Alex and the Project 17 team decided to do something for charity and partner with Weetabix and Heinz who had a huge viral moment when they introduced the Weetabeanz combo. As a result of this challenge Alex and the Magic breakfast were able to feed over 60,000 young people.
Beder is a charity taking a unique approach to softly raising awareness around these important societal issues bringing people together who share similar interests through a range of events and initiatives in order to reduce the number of people suffering in silence and feeling that taking their own life is the only option.
Alex participated in The Beder World Cup Experience, a first of its kind exhibition and experience, harnessing the power of the World Cup, to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention in support of Beder and Beder FC.
Alex spoke on a panel hosted by Mayowa Qaudri and was joined by Marvin Sordell, former English professional player as they reflected and discuss their mental health journey as professional football players.

"I feel like as men, especially black men, society makes us feel as if we cannot speak up and if you do you are weak. Be OK being vulnerable, there is nothing wrong with it. There is nothing wrong with telling people 'I'm not all right in the world, It is only going through life - and there is so much trauma in young black men - that if you speak about it you'd be able to navigate it."
Beder was founded in November 2019 by Razzak Mirjan and his family following the loss of Beder Mirjan who sadly died at the age of 18 in April 2017.
Alex and Project 17 are now proud sponsors of local grassroots football team .Redbridge Community FC. A great opportunity for Alex and Project 17 to invest in the next generation and provide them with opportunities to succeed, build friendships and create a pathway to achieving their football dreams and keeping them off the streets.
With the help of Puma, Alex and Project 17 were able to provide the team with new kits, training equipment and footballs.
